Welcome to Diana Quinn's homepage at the University of South Australia. This year I embark on a 2 day/week secondment, working on the Engineering hubs and spokes project that links UniSA with ANU.
I moved office in 2009 to C1-54 - this 38 second video will show you how to get there.
Since May 18, 2008, the number of visitors to this page has been approximately
This map shows where in the world the visitors are coming from (refreshed August 1, each year).
I am interested in online teaching and learning, particularly the use of online collaboration (wikis, blogs, google docs and spreadsheets, virtual classrooms, online discussions and chat) to assist learning. This process is most successful when strategies to develop a learning community are in place.
I aim to teach for student engagement as I believe this maximises the effectiveness of learning episodes. This doesn't always come naturally, but I use collaborative reflection and action research to continually improve my work.
In a nutshell - Online summaries of teaching and learning topics that take less than 5 minutes
Haematology case studies (module 1)
