I have been teaching part time at UniSA, Magill Campus for ten years, while completing a doctorate degree, mainly in children's literature and literacy courses and latterly in communication and media courses. These have involved teaching to internal and external students, conducting workshops and summer schools.
I currently review children's books for Reading Time and Viewpoint magazines.
Before then I worked for fifteen years in arts administration with various theatre companies in Adelaide.
I have recently been made a Justice of the Peace.
