Research interests

  • Janet's research interests include working as a professional in regional areas and ergonomics and the use of computers.
  • Her masters thesis examined the knowledge of and priority given to the use of ergonomics in relation to the use of desktop keyboard-operated computer technology within organisations.
  • Janet's PhD studies investigated the links between ergonomic knowledge, workplace culture and personal well-being and health symptoms experienced by computer operators.
  • She is also researching in collaboration with others on projects in the areas such as working as a rural academic.
