Hi and welcome to my home page. I am the Coordinator: Industry Engagement within Career Services and my role here is to develop pathways and connections between industry/community and students and staff in support of graduate career development.
Working in the graduate employment area my focus is on connections that help develop career skills, support academic staff in providing education that is connected to the world of work, provide information on graduate employment opportunities, and contact with employers. The industry engagement staff of Chris Keech, Ellen Sowerby and I do this through the MyCareerPlan jobs and opportunities website, the annual Employment and Careers Expo, International Careers Fair and Work Experience Fair, as well as Employer Presentations throughout the year. We also maintain email contact with students and Program Directors for information on current work and experience opportunities, workshops and events. We run the Work Placement Scheme for extra-curricular work experience relevant to study and I deliver a range of tailored career events including industry and alumni panels, career forums, and discipline based employer fairs.
We work with both academics and employers in collaboration with our Careers Advisers.
