Lynn Brake is a Senior Research Fellow specialising in the human aspects of water management and use in rural and outback landscapes. He has worked on research projects and consultancies with government agencies, industries and community groups throughout Australia and internationally on water policy, planning, conflict management, and resource use. Along with his academic career in teaching and research, Lynn has been appointed as a ‘community bureaucrat’ to a wide range of natural resource management committees, councils and other interface groups. He is the past Presiding Member of the Arid Areas Catchment Water Management Board in South Australia and a member of the Great Artesian Basin Consultative Council and the Community Advisory Committee for the Lake Eyre Basin Ministerial Forum.
