Welcome to my web site. I am Pauline Hill, a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery within the Division of Health Sciences at the University of South Australia.

My main area of teaching and research is in Diabetes and Patient Education. I also co-ordinate 3 external courses in the Graduate Diploma in Nursing (Specialty Area-Nurse Education) so please contact me if you are interested in undertaking some further study in diabetes or education.

I am an active member of the South Australian (SA) Branch of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA), I am a past SA representative on the ADEA National Council and I am currently a member of the ADEA Course Accreditation Committee.

Another area of interest for me is Medication Calculations. In 2000, three colleagues and I produced a CD-ROM to assist students and Registered Nurses with Medication Calculations. Since then we have created the website for Safe Administration of Medicines (SAM).

Regards

Pauline Hill
