Sulette Lombard moved to Australia from South Africa in December, 2007. She joined the foundation staff at the new School of Law at UniSA as a lecturer in January, 2008 and was appointed senior lecturer from January 2009. She previously held a position as senior lecturer at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, where she taught for 11 years.

Research interests

  • Corporate law, specifically in relation to directors' duties; corporate governance and corporate social responsibility, with emphasis on the importance of corporate ethics in ensuring sustainable development.
  • Corporate insolvency, specifically in relation to director liability.
