Ann is a company director, academic and business consultant with many years experience as a manager and leader in private, public and community organisations. She is the founder and past CEO of the Management And Research Centre (MARC), a provider of quality leadership programs. She has held senior management positions in the public sector as well as owning and managing a small business. She teaches the course, Contemporary Management Perspectives, on the Off Shore MBA program. Ann holds a PhD from the University of British Columbia, Canada and is regarded as one of the leading thinkers in mentoring from around the world. She has worked with many Australian and Canadian organisations to establish mentoring programs. She has collaborated with colleagues in research and publications, and was recently invited to write a chapter in “The Situational Mentor: An International Review of Competences and Capabilities in Mentoring”, Gower Publication. Her paper, “Critical Reflections of Mentoring in Work settings” is one of the 50 most frequently cited articles in Adult Education Quarterly, Sage Publication.
