Bill Cowley received his BSc, BE and PhD degrees from the University of Adelaide. Over the past 20 years, at SAIT and the University of SA, he has mainly worked in communication signal processing. His most significant theoretical work is in the analysis of modem synchronisation algorithms and performance bounds. He has directed a large number of applied research projects at ITR, including FDMA, TDMA, OFDM and CDMA modems, with bit rates from 1 kbit/s to 1 Gbit/s. For further details, please see the ITR home page and Bill's home page.
