Welcome to my web page. I took up the position as Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery early in 2006. Prior to that I worked at the University of Adelaide, The Joanna Briggs Institute for Evidence Based Nursing and at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. I am currently the Program Director for Research Degrees, and in this role I coordinate the PhD and Research Masters programs. I am also the Program Director for the Division of Health Sciences Honours program. I am the Course Coordinator for the two Minor Thesis courses and the three Project courses.

My areas of research interest include all aspects of acute care nursing, evidence based practice, program evaluation and research reviews. I am currently involved in a range of different program evaluations and am a member of a team that is working with industry partners to develop a program of research into respite care and reminiscence therapy for carers of people with dementia.
