Welcome to the home page of Kevin Purse. Kevin is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Sleep Research. He has a first degree in economics and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He completed his PhD on workers' compensation policy in 2003 at Adelaide University.
Prior to being awarded his doctorate he worked in the areas of occupational health and safety and workers' compensation and served as a director of the WorkCover Corporation and the South Australian Occupational Health and Safety Commission.
Kevin was a foundation Editorial Board member of the Journal of Australian Political Economy and is currently on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Social Security and Workers' Compensation.
His research interests include occupational health and safety, vocational rehabilitation, workers' compensation and political economy.
