Research Degree Supervisor
I have expertise in Qualitative Research methodologies, and in particular in ethnographic techniques of data collection and also discourse analysis; particularly as informed by the work of Michel Foucault. My research interests include the use of different theoretical approaches in qualitative research for inquiry into the nexus between policy and practice in health care in general, and nursing in particular. I have a particular interest in the way that policy, acts as an intermediary in aligning the practice of health professionals to the aims and objectives of a neo-liberal govern-mentality.Change | Staff home page help
