I am an Adnyamathanha woman and my country is in the northern Flinders Ranges. I grew up in Port Augusta where my family still lives. I am part of a large extended family and this informs my day to day life and work experiences.

I enjoy participating in the development of community events. I am actively involved in the planning and coordinating of NAIDOC and Reconciliation activities in SA.


Teaching interests

  • I am interested in Alcohol and other Drugs issues and have done some work to develop alcohol management strategies.
  • I am very interested in the administration of legislation particularly Liquor and Gambling.
  • I have developed courses, taught and researched in the area of Aboriginal Social and Emotional Well Being.
  • I am interested in the considerations of ethics and I have also worked in the field of Aboriginal Health Research Ethics.
