You-il Lee is Associate Professor and Director of Master of International Business Program(MIB) in the International Graduate School of Business at the University of South Australia. You-il is a political economist, who works on socio-economic and political changes, foreign direct investment, and political economy of globalization in Northeast Asia. You-il has been a prolific researcher in the fields of Area Studies and International Management. He has published in a number of academic journals and three books with leading publishers over the years. You-il has also taught and coordinated numerous courses on Asian political economy, Asian Business Management, fundamentals of International Business/Management, Globalization, International Business Strategy and Cross-cultural Management.
You-il has served as President of Western Australia Korean Chamber of Commerce (2002-2006) and held visiting appointments at the Graudate School of International Studies, Chung-Ang University, Korea and at the Korea-Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). You-il has had considerable experience in advising companies and government departments on a range of matters. You-il has also met with over 150 CEOs of multinational corporations over the years.
