Kuan is currently an Online Adviser and a member of the Online Education Support team in the Learning and Teaching Unit. He provides training and support to staff at Mawson Lakes with the following software applications:

Kuan has a background in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Project Management. Upon completion of his Masters programme in the University of Science Malaysia, he served as a consultant for 2 years in a reputable company, providing high level advice to training institutions. During his tenure, he helped to setup a system for the day-to-day operations of an organisation which met the ISO 9001 requirements. He has also assisted in the development of several well-received training programmes. More information on his professional experience can be found here.
He is about to complete his PhD in the Information Systems Laboratory (InSyL) at City West Campus. The primary aim of InSyL is to research on and promote the effective use of ICT in society as a whole. Kuan's research interest lies in models of asynchronous collaboration and creative teamwork.
