I’m currently employed at UniSA in the International Graduate School of Business (IGSB). My role includes teaching various courses in the UniSA MBA program, research on sustainable business issues, and managing various aspects of different programs within the IGSB.
From 2005 to 2010 I returned to university as a full time student at UniSA and completed a Masters of Advanced Business Practice and then a PhD. The PhD thesis is titled “Progressing a Sustainable World – A Case study of the South Australian Government”, and looked into the broad question of what it means for humanity to live sustainably on the Earth and what might be needed to see this outcome achieved.
Prior to my return to university, I spent over 30 years in the financial services sector having held various senior management and CEO roles in areas of financial planning and investment funds management.
I am available for media comment on sustainability issues including:
* Ecological Footprint.
* Global warming, the political environment in which it is being played out, and initiatives to address the issue.
* Government and business initiatives to address (or not address) environmental issues.
* Corporate Social Responsibility and the role of business in society in addressing environmental and social justice issues.
* Population policy and the implications for a sustainable future.
