Chelsea Thorn

About me

Chelsea obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class Honours from the University of South Australia in 2015. In 2016, she completed an internship at National Pharmacies, working in a range of community pharmacies to achieve general registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). During this time Chelsea also completed a Graduate Certificate in Chronic Condition Management at Flinders University to supplement her learning. Following on from this, Chelsea worked as a locum pharmacist in the Yorke Peninsula (Jan-Mar 2017) before commencing a PhD (Pharmacology) in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Clive Prestidge and Dr. Nicky Thomas. Her research is based around developing smarter ways to deliver antibiotics to overcome highly tolerant bacterial infections.
