Janet Sluggett is a PhD candidate at the Quality Use of Medicines and Pharmacy Research Centre. Her supervisors are Emeritus Professor Andrew Gilbert, Dr Gillian Caughey and Dr Michael Ward. Janet's research is focused on the use of medicines by the older population after a hospitalisation for an ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack (TIA).
Janet is a registered pharmacist and is accredited to perform Home Medicines Reviews (HMRs). She has practiced in public and private hospital settings, with experience in the areas of neurology, geriatrics, rehabilitation and transitional care.
