About me

Current PhD student in the school of ITMS under the supervision of Professor Jim Hill (UniSA, ITMS) and Dr. Sam Drake (University of Adelaide). My research focus is on Einstein's General Theory of Relativity (GTR). My PhD aims to improve current general relativistic correction for orbital dynamics and also lay the foundations in the design of fully general relativistic orbit prediction models.

I am originally from the Republic of Ireland where I studied mathematical sciences. I obtained a first class honours degree in 2014 majoring in the area of general relativity. My dissertation involved studying charged particles near the event horizon of a charged black hole. I am the recipient of the 2013 Hamilton Award which was awarded to me by Sir Roger Penrose in the Royal Irish Academy.
