UAV Based 3 dimensional Atmospheric Acoustic Tomography

Measure atmospheric temperature and wind fields using acoustic tomographic techniques. I fly an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) over an array of microphones on the ground. The spped of sound is measured between the UAV and the microphones. The speed of sound is affected by temperature and wind speed. I can therefore estimate temperature and wind fields from the speed of sound. It is like performing an ultrasound of the atmosphere.
