About me


Sara is currently a PhD candidate at the School of Art, Architecture and Design of the University of South Australia. Sara is working on an interdisciplinary research project focusing on migrants lived experiences in Adelaide through a mix-methods approach. Her research investigates migrants adaptation and appropriation of their houses to their preferences and captures housing socio-spatial aspects. Previously, she worked as a professional architect, researcher and tutor for 5 years in Shiraz, Iran.


My research interests include: 
Housing Design, Place-Making, Social Infrastructure, Migration Studies, Housing Policies
